The development partnership of Lat Purser & Associates, Inc and Lord Baltimore Properties will break ground on the new 63 acre, master planned, Wingate Commons development in the first quarter 2012.   Wingate Commons is located at the interchange of I-485 and E. John Street in the town of Matthews, NC, just 20 minutes from uptown Charlotte.   

Included in the first phase of this mixed-use development will be Wingate University's new adult post-graduate education satellite campus.  Other approved sites in the first phase will be for a 5-story - 100 room hotel, two free-standing restaurant pads with highway frontage, and building sites for class A office buildings ranging from 28,000 SF to a 100,000 SF corporate HQ building. The second phase of Wingate Commons will consist of free standing commercial building sites and a fully entitled 220 unit multifamily site.
